VAC ENTERTAINMENT SHOWCASE – 4 May 2026
Our next showcase evening is on Monday 4 May 2026 at the Birkenhead RSA, Recreation Drive, Birkenhead.

Get ready for a vibrant night of live entertainment as the Birkenhead RSA proudly presents a spectacular Entertainment Showcase featuring an exciting mix of musical talent, performance, and stage energy. Hosted by the ever-engaging Jacqui Cheal & Linda Luxford, with Jacqui also taking on MC duties, the evening promises warmth, professionalism, and plenty of fun from start to finish.
The lineup brings together a diverse range of performers:
🎻 Luke Tang – A young and incredibly talented musician, Luke brings a fresh and captivating presence with his string performance, showcasing skill well beyond his years.
🤠 Nick Jones & Barbie Davidson – This dynamic duo delivers classic country charm with heartfelt vocals and authentic style. Expect toe-tapping rhythms and feel-good storytelling.
🎸 Dean Church – A seasoned performer with a rich vocal tone and acoustic flair, Dean blends contemporary and classic influences for a relaxed yet powerful musical experience.
💃 Sophie Yang – Adding elegance and flair to the evening, Sophie’s performance brings a touch of glamour and artistry, captivating audiences with her poise and stage presence.
🎶 Indigo Blue – The full band experience! Indigo Blue delivers a high-energy set featuring live instrumentation, strong vocals, and a great mix of crowd-pleasing tunes to round out the night.
Supporting the show behind the scenes are Bob Campbell (Sound) and Dennis Havord (Lighting), ensuring a professional and immersive production throughout.

Entry is cash at the door, with tickets priced at:
- $5 for VAC members
- $10 for Birkenhead RSA members
- $15 for the general public

Entry conditions:
-A CASH door charge applies of VAC members $5 / Birkenhead RSA members $10 / Non-members (Public) $15. Please bring CASH for entry charge. Eftpos and credit card payment is not available. (Want to save money on our door charges? Join The VAC to keep your door charges LOW).
-Standard RSA entry conditions apply (i.e. you must present either a current RSA, Chartered Clubs, or VAC membership card. Current card-holders may bring in one guest).
-Photography you take (from your chair / on phone) is for your personal use only. Footage should only be published online with the express permission of the artist(s) you have recorded performing. No charges should be made for recording / editing. Any commercial usage should only be by the artists themselves.
