VAC ENTERTAINMENT SHOWCASE – 6 October 2025
Our next showcase evening is on Monday 6 October 2025 at the Birkenhead RSA, Recreation Drive, Birkenhead. Details of our entertainers can be seen in the poster below.

Entry is from $5 – $15. Great value! Note: entry conditions apply.

Restaurant open from 5.30pm-8.30pm, last orders by 7.30pm. Entertainment from 7pm until 9.30-10pm.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of top New Zealand talent and fun at the VAC Entertainment Showcase! Proudly presented by the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand, this showcase promises a sensational lineup of artists, bringing heart, soul, and sparkle to the Birkenhead RSA stage.

Hosted and MC’ed by the talented David Pomeroy, this event features a fantastic cast of seasoned performers including Roger Skinner, the vocal talents of Royal Lightz, alt-country from Shootin’ In the Dark, the magic of Ari Phillips Magician, dancing from the amazing Auckland Academy of Dance, and the wonderful StageTalk Band.

This is your chance to enjoy an evening of high-quality, live entertainment in a warm, welcoming RSA setting. If you love live performances, this VAC showcase will leave you clapping, singing, and smiling from ear to ear.

-A CASH door charge applies of VAC members $5 / Birkenhead RSA members $10 / Non-members (Public) $15. Please bring CASH for entry charge. Eftpos and credit card payment is not available. (Want to save money on our door charges? Consider VAC Membership to keep your door charges LOW).
-Standard RSA entry conditions apply (i.e. you must present either a current RSA, Chartered Clubs, or VAC membership card. Current card-holders may bring in one guest).
-Photography you take (from your chair / on phone) is for your personal use only. Footage should only be published online with the express permission of the artist(s) you have recorded performing. No charges should be made for recording / editing. Any commercial usage should only be by the artists themselves.
