VAC ENTERTAINMENT SHOWCASE – 7 JULY 2025
Our June showcase evening is on Monday 7 July 2025 at the Birkenhead RSA, Recreation Drive, Birkenhead. Details of our entertainers can be seen in the poster below.
Entry is from $5 – $15. Great value! Note: entry conditions apply.
Restaurant open from 5.30pm-8.30pm, last orders by 7.30pm. Entertainment from 7pm until 9.30-10pm.
Yeehaw! Get ready for an unforgettable evening of country music, talent, and toe-tapping fun at the Entertainment Showcase – Country Hoedown 2! Proudly presented by the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand, this showcase promises a sensational lineup of artists, bringing heart, soul, and sparkle to the Birkenhead RSA stage.
Hosted by the dynamic duo Karen Davy & Karyn Jacobson, this event features a fantastic cast of seasoned performers including the electric violin energy of Marian Burns, the vocal power of Christie Lethbridge, and the smooth harmonies of Karen Davy & Ken Strong. You’ll also enjoy the musical stylings of Dennis & Donna Clark, the masterful pedal steel of Bill Bassett, and the dazzling cabaret-country flair of Serene Boulton.
This is your chance to enjoy an evening of high-quality, live entertainment in a warm, welcoming RSA setting. Whether you’re a country fan or just love great live music, this showcase will leave you clapping, singing, and smiling from ear to ear.

-A CASH door charge applies of VAC members $5 / Birkenhead RSA members $10 / Non-members (Public) $15. Please bring CASH for entry charge. Eftpos and credit card payment is not available. (Want to save money on our door charges? Consider VAC Membership to keep your door charges LOW).
-Standard RSA entry conditions apply (i.e. you must present either a current RSA, Chartered Clubs, or VAC membership card. Current card-holders may bring in one guest).
-Photography you take (from your chair / on phone) is for your personal use only. Footage should only be published online with the express permission of the artist(s) you have recorded performing.
