Our friendly meet and greet evenings at The Gables Tavern (Jervois Road, Herne Bay) are lots of fun, and give performers a chance to talk and share ideas with other entertainers, and maybe even try out new acts before using them on the public. We publish a newsletter, which goes out to members all around the world.
Our annual awards night is a chance to really step out in style. Top acts from around the country attend, and awards and scrolls of honor are given out to deserving acts. Our major award is the "Benny" named after a famous NZ magician Edgar Benyon. Each year one is awarded to someone who has excelled or contributed to the industry above the "norm".
